Novice Tactics for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the western in a fantastic game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players bet against other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not need to worry about other, more advanced gamblers winning their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.

It’s also simpler to bet on for a long time with just a tiny amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the house gets seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
