Phil Ivey has been referred to as the number one poker competitor on the planet by quite a few of the top pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and moved to NJ before reaching turning 1. His grandpa taught Phil one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From that point on, he was hooked on poker and wished to discover anything he possibly could about the game. Phil credits his achievements to discipline and an immeasurable love for poker. He states that he is picking up skills every day and is quite humble about his accomplishments. He knows he makes mistakes every single game of poker and always strives to improve.
Despite the fact that Ivey has won some large tournaments, he likes winning money games on a regular basis.
