When you say that an individual was blessed in that poker tournament they won, be careful of how you say it. For instance, if you mention that you were unlucky, your luck may never change.
Ok, that might appear to be a bit ubsurd, but poker is a game armed with folklores. Did you realize that if you’re wagering a game with 2 different decks and you are asked to pick the deck, you should always choose the deck of cards that is the furthest away from you? Or, what If you have a streak of terrible cards, you must sit on a hankerchief to destroy your poor luck? It’s certainly considered good luck to blow through a pack of cards while they are being randomized.
A few other fascinating poker superstitions are:
- You can change the run of cards by walking around your chair 3 times.
- The luckiest seat at the poker table looks at the entrance.
- The most detrimental chair has its back to a fireplace.
- When switching chairs, you should constantly do so clockwise.
- The worst poker card is the 4 of clubs.
- It’s most unfortunate to sit with your legs crossed at the poker table.
- Friday is a poor day for playing cards.
- The 13th is also a bad day, no matter what day of the week it is.
